Racial Harmony Day: Our People, Our Tapestry
In this year’s commemoration of Racial Harmony Day, Maha Bodhians celebrated the rich diversity that makes Singapore our home. Through an engaging assembly programme featuring a Drama Club skit, students reflected on how our different cultures, traditions and experiences come together to form the vibrant tapestry of our nation. Together, these threads make Singapore stronger, reminding us that harmony is built through understanding, respect and appreciation for one another.
The celebrations continued at the recess booths, where students explored cultural exhibits and displays, contributed to the Kindness Tree, and participated in word wall and matching games that deepened their appreciation of Singapore's multicultural heritage.
Students and teachers also proudly donned ethnic attire, celebrating the beauty of our diverse cultures.
Together, we can continue to weave a tapestry of harmony by showing kindness, respect and understanding every day.
种族和谐日: 众人同心，共织和谐锦绣
在今年的种族和谐日，菩提学校师生齐聚一堂，共同庆祝新加坡丰富多元的文化特 色。通过精彩纷呈的周会活动，包括戏剧学会呈献的短剧表演，同学们进一步了解不 同文化、传统与生活经历如何相互交融，共同编织出新加坡这幅绚丽多彩的和谐画卷。
庆祝活动也延续至休息时间。同学们积极参与各项主题活动，参观文化展览与展示 区，在“仁慈树”上写下祝福与善行，并通过网络平台 Wordwall 和配对游戏，加深对 新加坡多元文化遗产的认识与欣赏。
当天，师生们也身着色彩缤纷、各具特色的民族服饰，共同展现不同文化的独特魅 力，感受多元文化共融的美好。
让我们继续以善意、尊重与理解相待，携手编织属于我们的和谐锦绣，共同建设一个 更加团结、包容与友爱的社会。
