Chinese New Year 2026: Welcoming the Year of the Horse 🐎

Maha Bodhi School welcomes Chinese New Year 2026, the Year of the Horse, with a vibrant celebration that fosters tradition, creativity, and togetherness.

In the lead-up to the festivities, students worked collaboratively to transform their classrooms with festive decorations, expressing creativity while deepening their understanding of Chinese New Year traditions. The celebrations culminated on the eve of Chinese New Year with a concert, beginning with Chinese New Year greetings and a meaningful offering of flowers to Lord Buddha. The programme was enlivened by a series of dynamic cultural performances, creating a joyous and festive atmosphere. Students also participated in classroom CNY buddy craft activities that encouraged collaboration and shared learning.

Beyond the concert, CNY celebrations continued at the school courtyard, which was transformed into a mini Chinese New Year carnival. Through traditional games and creative cultural activities, students had opportunities to experience Chinese New Year customs in an interactive and enjoyable way.

Through these planned CNY experiences, students strengthened friendships and developed cultural appreciation. As we gallop into the Year of the Horse, Maha Bodhi School wishes all a year filled with vitality, resilience, and joyful learning. 🐎

2026年农历新年：喜迎马年 🐎

今年，菩提学校通过一连串热闹欢腾、充满活力的庆祝活动，喜迎2026年农历新年——马年，充分展现了传统文化的魅力、学生的创意巧思，以及校园浓厚的凝聚力。

首先，为了迎接新年的到来，学生们通力合作，精心装饰教室，在发挥创意的同时，也加深了对农历新年传统文化的理解。庆祝活动于农历新年前夕举行的新春联欢会中达到高潮。联欢会在温馨的新年祝福与向佛陀献花的庄严仪式中拉开序幕，随后一系列充满活力的文化表演轮番登场，为现场营造了喜庆热闹的节日氛围。此外，学生们还与不同年级的伙伴一同参与新年手工制作活动，在合作与分享中收获学习的乐趣。

除了新春联欢会，农历新年的庆祝活动还将在校内的慈航园续展开。校园庭院将摇身一变，化身为热闹缤纷的迷你新春嘉年华。通过一系列传统游戏与富有创意的文化体验活动，学生们将以互动、有趣的方式亲身感受农历新年的习俗与魅力。
