Experiential Learning Week (ELW) 2025 – Semester 2
Experiential Learning Week (ELW) is part of our school’s ongoing effort to nurture motivated learners and innovative problem solvers. It develops students’ Emerging 21st Century Competencies (E21CC), particularly communication, adaptive thinking, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
In Semester 2, Primary 3 to Primary 5 students participated in hands-on learning experiences such as Project Work, Design Thinking, coding, and the Chinese Culture Camp. These authentic activities encouraged them to create, collaborate, communicate, and contribute beyond the classroom.
Highlights of ELW 2025:
Primary 3: Took on a Design Thinking Challenge to redesign the school’s Makerspace and created a Chinese Culture BINGO game as part of Project Work.
Primary 4: Strengthened communication, creativity, and computational thinking through Code Monkey, and advocated for healthy living through Project Work.
Primary 5: Worked collaboratively to advocate for sustainability through Project Work.
Students also explored Chinese traditions through the Chinese Culture Camp and took part in team-based classroom activities that enhanced social bonds and problem-solving skills. They also witnessed their Primary 6 seniors’ creativity and confidence during the Jumble Sale, where the Primary 6 students planned engaging activities, delivered persuasive sales pitches, and raised funds for old folks’ homes. All students contributed to the fundraising efforts through their enthusiastic participation.
ELW 2025 was a celebration of joyful learning and a purposeful platform for developing key 21st-century competencies. Through teamwork, creativity, and advocacy, our Maha Bodhians continue to grow as confident, caring, and future-ready learners
2025年第二学期体验式学习周 (ELW)
体验式学习周(ELW)是我校持续推行的重要教育项目之一,旨在培育积极自主的学习者,以及具有创新手法面对问题的解决者。该项目着重培养学生的21世纪核心能力,包括沟通能力、适应性思维、创造力、批判性思维与协作能力。
在第二学期,三年级至五年级的学生参与了多元化的实践学习活动,如专题作业、设计思维任务、编程课程以及文化营等。通过这些真实的学习体验,学生得以在课堂之外发挥创造力、展现协作精神与沟通技巧。
2025年体验式学习周亮点:
三年级:挑战设计思维任务,重新构思学校的创客空间;在专题作业中设计了富有创意的“中华文化宾果游戏”。
四年级:通过“编码猴”(Code Monkey)编程课程提升沟通力、创造力与计算思维,并在专题作业中倡导健康生活方式。
五年级: 以小组协作为核心,通过专题作业倡导可持续发展理念。
此外,学生们在文化营中深入探索中华传统文化,并参与多项以团队为基础的课堂活动,进一步增强了同伴关系与问题解决能力。他们也见证了六年级学长学姐在义卖会 (Jumble Sale) 中展现的创造力与自信。六年级学生精心策划了趣味活动,发表具说服力的推销演讲,成功为老人院筹集善款。全体师生也积极参与其中,为筹款活动贡献一份力量。
2025 年体验式学习周不仅展现了快乐学习的精神,更为学生发展 21 世纪核心能力提供了一个有意义且富启发性的学习平台。通过团队合作、创意发挥与积极倡导,菩提学子持续成长为自信、有爱、面向未来的学习者。
