Principal’s Message

As we welcome the new year, I am delighted to extend my warmest greetings to all members of our Maha Bodhi School community. The year 2025 had been one of growth and achievement, building upon the foundation laid by our pioneering school leaders, staff, students and partners.

Our school vision of nurturing Inspired Learners of Exemplary Character remains at the heart of everything we do. We continue to be guided by our mission of nurturing confident life-long learners and compassionate contributors with a deep connection to the Chinese culture. Our school motto, 敦品励学, reminds our pupils to be steadfast in character and possess a thirst for knowledge. As a Special Assistance Plan school, we are committed to immersing our pupils in an environment rich in Chinese culture and language, developing effectively bilingual pupils who will serve the community. We aim to equip our pupils with the dispositions and attributes to be active citizens who have a global outlook and embrace cultural diversity.

We are proud to share that our focus on enhancing pupils’ well-being through a caring and enabling environment, and developing compassionate contributing leaders anchored in values, has strengthened the sense of belonging among our pupils and enabled them to step forward with confidence to make positive contributions to the school and community. Our dedicated staff have continued to embrace professional growth opportunities, ensuring that we deliver quality education that meets the evolving needs of our pupils.

Looking ahead in 2026, we will deepen our commitment to holistic education. We will continue to provide varied learning experiences that inspire our pupils to be motivated learners, innovative problem solvers, and compassionate contributors anchored in our core values of Respect, Resilience, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence. We will continue developing our pupils’ 21 st century competencies through the curriculum and our key programmes such as Applied Learning Programme, Project Work and Experiential Learning Week. We will deepen our pupils’ digital literacy and technological skills and leverage pedagogically sound EdTech tools to enable our pupils to learn effectively and efficiently. We will also continue to emphasise the inculcation of school values and socio-emotional competencies, preparing our pupils to navigate an increasingly complex world with confidence and compassion.

The partnership between school and home remains the cornerstone of our pupils’ success. We deeply appreciate the trust and support of our parents in our endeavour to imbue important values and provide a well-rounded education for all Maha Bodhians. We look forward to continuing our close collaboration with all stakeholders as we work together to nurture our pupils and enable them to soar to greater heights. Maha Bodhi School remains committed to being a school of choice, distinction and pride, striving to provide a holistic education for our pupils to make a difference in their lives and communities.

在迎接新的一年之际，我谨向菩提学校全体家长致以诚挚的问候与祝福。

回顾 2025年，这是充满成长与成果的一年。学校在先驱学校领导、全体教职员工、学生以及合作伙伴所奠定的坚实基础上，持续稳步前行，并取得了令人欣喜的进展。

我校的愿景 "品德高尚的乐学者" ;继续指引着我们,致力于培养心系华夏文化且自信的终身学习者和怀有慈悲心的贡献者。我校校训 "敦品励学" 激励着我们的学生坚定品格，保持求知欲。作为特选学校，我们认为让学生沉浸在丰富的中华文化和语言环境中至关重要，以培养服务社区的双语人才。我们的目标是培养具有全球视野、接纳多元文化的积极公民。

我们欣然分享，学校通过打造一个有利于学生全面发展且充满关爱的环境，持续提升学生的福祉，并致力于培养以道德为基础、且心怀慈悲的贡献者，有效增强了学生对学校的归属感，也鼓励他们自信地迈出步伐，为学校与社区作出积极贡献。与此同时，我校敬业的教职员工持续投入专业成长，把握各类学习与发展机会，确保我们所提供的教育品质，能够切实回应学生不断变化的学习需求。

展望2026年，学校将进一步深化对全人教育的承诺。我们将持续提供多元而丰富的学习体验，启发学生成为积极自主的学习者、富有创新手法面对问题的解决者，以及以道德为基础且心怀慈悲的贡献者，并内化我校的五大核心价值观 - 尊重、坚韧、正直、仁爱与卓越。

学校将继续通过课程及重点项目，如应用学习课程、专题作业及体验式学习周，系统性地培养学生的 21 世纪核心能力。同时，我们将进一步提高学生的数码素养与科技应用能力，善用具教育价值且教学设计严谨的教育科技工具，提升学生的学习成效与效率。此外，学校也将持续重视价值观教育与社会情绪能力的培育，确保学生具备所需的素养与能力，以自信与同理心从容应对日益复杂的世界。

学校与家庭之间的伙伴关系仍然至关重要。我们深深感谢家长们对我们的信任和支持，让我们能够为所有菩提学子灌输重要价值观并提供全面教育。树人与育人是教育使命的重中之重。期望在教育部、佛教总会、校友会和家长会的鼎立支持下，加上家长伙伴的信任及教职团队全心全力的付出，

菩提的孩子们都能在学习的道路上茁壮成长，在学业上和全人的发展上获得成就！
