Building a vibrant reading culture through purposeful oracy!
Our pupils stepped into the role of reading advocates through the Persuasive Book Recommendation Programme. From assembly presentations to inter-class book sharing sessions, pupils confidently recommended their favourite reads using persuasive speaking skills learnt during English lessons.
Through authentic peer-sharing experiences, pupils strengthened their confidence in oral presentation, developed persuasive communication skills and deepened their love for reading!
