Choir @ SICF
Maha Bodhi School Choir participated in the Singapore International Choral Festival 2017 (SICF) on 14 July 2017. SICF is an annual choral festival that serves to bind people together. The choral festival is a symbol of gathering between different religion, cultures, nationalities and races.
This is the second year MBS Choir participated in SCIF. The children worked hard and achieved a Silver Award for their performance.
As part of the choral festival, the choir had an informative session with one of the adjudicators and learnt more about Polynesian songs. Also, MBS choir participated in choir exchanges with local and overseas choirs. The exchange was an enriching experience with each choir performing for one another, and learning a new song together. The exchange ended with choir members mingling with members from other choirs, exchanging friendship notes and tokens of appreciation.
